Event was organized by GTU and was presented by Dr Murat Salim Karabinaoglu and Dr Tuba Gozel. Partners presented a paper entitled: ‘’Load Forecasting Modelling of Datacentres and IT Systems by Using Artificial Neural Networks’’. The paper focused primarily on the energy consumption of Datacentres and on innovative ways to reduce this consumtion which accounts for 2% of global electricity supply and 2% of total greenhouse gas emissions.

1st International Turkish world engineering and science congress in Antalya. Presenters were Professor Hakan Hocaoglu, Dr Tuba Gozel and Dr Turker Takci from GTU. Their paper was entitled: ‘’Datacentre Energy Management in Smart Grids’’.
